On 12 February 2010, English rugby legend Lawrence Dallaglio and a bunch of celebrity friends begin an awesome challenge: the Dallaglio Cycle Slam. Starting at the Stadio Flaminio in Rome, the team will cycle over 2,800km to all the 6 Nations rugby stadia, taking in Paris, Twickenham, Cardiff, Dublin and finishing in Edinburgh. Their target is to raise £1m for Sport Relief and Lawrence's own charity, the Dallaglio Foundation.

Rok was commissioned to design the identity for the event which was then developed for use on shirts, bikes, vehicle livery, start/finish banners, sponsor banners. They also designed the official event website, a key element to the fundraising activity, acting as central hub for all donations. Each participant raises their own sponsorship for the event which gets added to the total, updated daily on the site's homepage. The site also includes a blog and Twitter account (which are updated regularly by Lawrence), a gallery and a live tracking device which is linked to Lawrence's bike so you can follow his ride live throughout the event.

Clients comments

“I really appreciate all the hard work that Rok have put in to help make the Dallaglio Cycle Slam such a success.
The website and branding of the event look fantastic and will go a long way to help us reaching our £1,000,000 target.”
